The group headquarters with museum underwent a complete refurbishment. The buildings were stripped and gutted; the façade was dismantled, then reconstructed.
After three decades of use, the building’s technical features – so, the heating, ventilation, electronics and sanitary facilities as well as the fire safety measures – were updated to the latest standards. Listed building preservation requirements were as decisive to this project as the need for contemporary energy parameters.
